Up and coming Singer Songwriter, Rhona MacFarlane, will perform a Support Set at Montrose Folk Club on Thursday 21 September, when the Main Guests for the club are the Duo of Nae Plans, consisting of Fiddler, Adam Sutherland, and Keyboard player and Singer, Hamish Napier.

Originally from Montrose, Rhona MacFarlane now studies Violin at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and plays Violin for the National Youth Orchestra of Scotland.  Rhona is equally at ease on Keyboards or Guitar as on Violin.

During her Support Set for Montrose Folk Club, Rhona will perform in their entirety, the two E.P.s, which she has released, her debut E.P. from 2016, entitled “Remembrance” and also her latest E.P., “The Tide”, which she has issued this summer.  A sold out launch Concert for “The Tide” was held in June at The Old Ropeworks in Montrose.
